      Ashurst Seasonal Clerkships:

The aim of our seasonal clerkships is to expose you to as much real work as possible, to help you to make an informed decision about whether this is the right firm for you.

For that reason, we'll allocate you a supervisor who can explain their work to you, include you in meetings and conference calls, and give you tasks to tackle. You will also have a buddy who will help you settle in and navigate around the firm. The secret to a good clerkship is to absorb everything while you spend time in one practice area.

There's also a chance to get involved in understanding other practice areas through workshops, team-building events to understand how we work together, and social events to get to know our teams away from the bustle of daily life.

      Applications:

We are accepting applications for our 2022/23 seasonal clerkships in our Brisbane office until 12 August 2022 (AEST 5.00 pm).

Students must be in their penultimate or final year to be eligible. You also need to have Australian citizenship or be a permanent resident at the time of application.

Please click on the "apply" button to submit an application, which should include a covering letter, addressed to Bec Carty, HR Consultant, details from your CV and a recent academic transcript. Applications submitted via email or post will not be considered.

Please contact Bec Carty if you require any adjustments to the online application process due to a disability or long-term health condition by emailing Graduate.Programs@ashurst.com
