Your role

As the Tax & Treasury Graduate, you will play an important role in meeting Sanofi's compliance obligations such as tax returns and business activity statements as well as involvement in strategic tax, treasury and business improvement projects. You'll also play an integral role in the management and analysis of Sanofi's financial activity, including management and analysis of cash flow, income, liability obligations and assets.

Other priorities in this role include:

• Assisting with the preparation of income tax returns, Business Activity Statements and Fringe Benefits Tax returns.
• Adapting and evolving our direct and indirect tax strategy in order to optimise efficiency in processes.
• Assisting with the documentation of tax governance frameworks.
• Liaising with government bodies (e.g. ATO, ASIC, OSR) for tax-related matters.
• Assisting with the preparation of weekly cash forecasts.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly treasury reports.
• Maintain effective communication between the broader finance team, internal departments and key stakeholders.
• Assisting with the documentation and update of Treasury policies and procedures in-line with Sanofi's and regulatory requirements.

About you

Sanofi is seeking Graduates who possess the following qualities:

• Have completed an undergraduate degree in the areas of Commerce or Business, preferably majoring in Accounting from a recognized tertiary institution.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Have a passion for Commerce and Business and a genuine interest in a career in Tax/Treasury. Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of taxation legislation will be highly regarded
• Possess strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Are driven and curious about uncovering insights
• Have strong attention to detail
• Are proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
• Are proactive and motivated to develop into a true business partner
• Are eager to develop themselves and will take ownership of their role
• To be eligible for this role, you will need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident at the time of application and be located in (or willing to relocate to) NSW.
