Your role

Sanofi Pasteur is a part of Sanofi dedicated exclusively to the discovery, manufacturing, and distribution of vaccines. As the Medical Affairs Intern, you will work within the Sanofi Pasteur team and undertake a project investigating/mapping opportunity for Sanofi to collaborate with academic, research and non-government organisations within the immunisation space.

Priorities in this role include:

  • Conducting mapping and analysis of the partnerships/collaborative projects in Australia
  • Supporting the Medical Manager or Medical team members in the identification of key external partners
  • Supporting Medical Manager or medical team members with the development and execution of scientific content for partnerships
  • Collaborating with other Sanofi Pasteur departments including marketing, Sales, Immunisation policy, public affairs, and market access in areas relevant to your project.
  • Preparing internal presentations of scientific data relevant to your project.

Training & development

The Sanofi Internship Program is a 2-month program that offers you the opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop your skills, and prepare for your entry into the corporate world. You will work alongside a supportive team and have a designated mentor to guide you. You will also have monthly catch-ups and workshops with fellow interns to develop your soft skills.

Their iLearn platform hosts the Sanofi University, a portal to upskill and learn from both external and internal trainers. It includes video and podcast formats, allowing employees to take time out and listen on the go. About you

Requirements:

  • Currently studying post-graduate qualifications in the areas of Life Sciences or Public Health
  • Strong interest in working with scientific and medical data
  • Strong Scientific understanding and analytical skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and focus on scientific accuracy
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Someone who is eager to develop themselves and will take ownership of their role once project goals and tasks are set
  • Demonstrable knowledge of immunology, virology or infectious disease is highly desirable
