Graduate role for Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Sydney, North Ryde Branch)

We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure team. Based in our North Ryde (NSW) offices, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within an area of the Siemens business that has enormous market potential.

Reporting to the System Engineering Manager, the Graduate Electrical Engineer will be trained in preparing detailed design of circuits for substation protection, control, communication, instrumentation and alarm schemes at voltages up to and including 500kV:

  • Design substation for energy transformation and transmission
  • Protection relays, Automation Hardware, SCADA System

Training includes working with the project management team in the development of the design and project plans, preparing protection study reports and/or protection relay settings as per the protection study report, development of specifications to meet customer requirements, and/or commissioning as required.

No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will need the following:

  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
