Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
People are nice, humble, supportive and fun. no micromanagment (at least for me), seniors support flexible working.

Inside the office there is a great culture. Everyone is up for a chat, coffee, lunch and willing to help you with any questions you have. Managers are very approachable, willing to delegate and teamwork is a key part of our roles. After hours socialising could be improved upon, but it is often hard since people have other commitments outside of work hours.

Very good inside and outside of the office- social events after hours. senior leaders are very approachable and friendly- does not feel hierarchical. Great teamwork amongst teams and good networking opportunities

The culture is inclusive and one that defines diversity. Does not matter where you sit in the organisation, you will always be treated as equal and no one will say no to a conversation with you. After hours, colleagues will always be open to a catch up or team events.

Employees feels genuinely invested in their work at Stockland because it speaks to such an array of interests. The company is inspiring and because of this, attracts employees that engage with one another in a positive way, interacting cross-functionally to accomplish our common goals. Employees feel trusted to have ownership over their work and I feel we all have the individual power to improve results.

The overall culture in the office is good. Most people are in the office 3-4 days a week. Each team differs in their own way when it comes to after work activities. As a grad cohort, we try our best to catch up often but youll always have someone to get lunch with

The culture around the office is very good. People are open for conversation, managers are generally quite accessible, most people work well as part of a team. Perhaps the after work events and activities could be improved.

While a hierarchy is ultimately inevitable, there is an open-door policy. So long as someone has time, they are willing to give you their time over a cup of coffee to discuss their work, their team, and their lives with you. The Chief of IMT, Sharmila, is one of the nicest people I have met. She has allowed me to cohost our monthly meetings earlier. She formed a social committee for our department, which I am a part of too. In the committee, we plan and organise social events on a regular basis. Everyone at Stockland are very helpful and it is almost as if they are chasing you to ask their help instead of the other way around. My team could be the most social one here. We have many social events during the month within our team. We have a team meeting where we eat, play, and plan. We have lunches together. We celebrate birthdays. We value each other. We have monthly end-of-month drinks where the teams come together to relax and socialise. Everyone is very insistent about not working outside of work hours. In my first performance review, while I was nervous at first about perhaps not doing enough, instead what happened was the data architect of our team mentioned that on a certain date I worked after hours for a short period though and asked me not to do so again, or to let them know if I ever had to or wanted to work outside of work hours.

My team consists of a senior finance manager for Statutory Reporting and Analysis, a finance manager for Reporting and Transactions, two senior financial accountants, a graduate (myself) and an intern. As a team, we discuss our upcoming schedule and any issues we are having weekly. We share how our weekends were to learn more about each other outside of work. The Finance department also has a social committee that organises events after hours, such as movie nights. The 2023 graduates also organise social events on most Fridays after work to build our connections and learn more about each other.
